Hewden Enterprise is formed and began operations in June 1994, initially manufacturing a variety of sewn products for the local market. Shortly after that, the company began to specialise in the manufacturing of sportswear with an emphasis on incorporating creative and intricate designs to accommodate the needs of the various sporting teams, institutes and customers. From the beginning of our operations, we had as one of our main objectives, that of providing quality products within agreed schedules and at competitive prices for the local and overseas markets. We are located at Shop 4, Hagley Park Plaza in Kingston 10 Jamaica.
Since its establishment, Hewden Enterprises Limited has grown to become one of the leading manufacturers of sportswear to the local market, providing customised gear under the brand name “Gears Plus”, with an enviable reputation for creativity, quality and dependability. Hewden Enterprises also participated in the 807 programme for over a year, in which we manufactured several lines of shorts for an overseas company until the company ceased operations.
To control final costs and reduce delivery times, Hewden expanded its operations to include graphics designing, screen printing and pleating services (for netball gears). This has significantly improved our ability to deliver with minimum disruptions while reducing our dependency on third party operations. The company is constantly assessing applicable technologies, the methods of making and material that can be incorporated to enhance our quality of school uniforms and other apparels.
Hewden Enterprises seeks to maintain a leading role in the local sportswear manufacturing industry. Moreover, we manage complete manufacturing process of school uniforms. The fabric we use in making school uniforms is of high-quality. It makes the uniform more durable.
Our philosophy is to provide comfort to the kids through our school uniforms. We are making every effort to address the changing needs of our customers for their satisfaction and will continue to maintain a leading edge in the marketplace.
